BRC Recovery Accepting Donations for 2^nd Annual Operation Warm The Big Book of Alcoholic Anonymous tells us, “Nothing so much insures immunity from drinking as intensive work with another alcohol.” BRC Recovery would like to expand that work to everyone in our 2^nd annual participation in Operation Warm. We will be accepting donations in the form of gloves, mittens, scarves, jackets or blankets from now until December 23^rd along with monetary donations. On Christmas Day, BRC staff and alumni will be taking these items to areas in downtown Austin to distribute to the homeless in order to give back. The holidays are a time we celebrate with loved ones and reflect on our many blessings. Operation Warm is a chance to be of service to those less fortunate and help to protect them against the elements this winter.
